Through his role on the RightsFlow Advisory Board, Cedric Deniau brings expertise in design, application, and management of engineering and technology areas. Deniau is currently the Chief Technology Officer at eMusic, where he is responsible for the company's engineering department and technology direction. Upon joining eMusic as V.P. of Technology in 2003, Deniau defined a new system architecture and hired and led the team that rebuilt and launched the eMusic web site in less than six months. He is also responsible for eMusic's security program by assuring compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard.
Previously, Deniau was director of engineering at WagerWorks Inc., a world leading developer of highly entertaining, legally compliant, Internet gambling solutions. He was responsible for the complete life cycle of the platform and games, as well as release management, technical writing and customer site development. Prior to WagerWorks Inc., Deniau led the engineering team at digital music locker company Myplay Inc. where he architected the initial launch of the Myplay service and successfully released the site in less than 100 days. He oversaw multiple subsequent releases including the launch of Myplay's robust and flexible subscription engine. While at Infoseek Corp, Deniau authored an XML preference and layout technology for personalization and wrote tools to integrate partner content and applications into the Infoseek development platform.
Deniau holds an M.S. and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Kansas University.
